VISTOSI lights up the first birthday of SmartLight in Bratislava
Semai, Nodo, StarNet, Puppet, Oto, Futura, Essence, Stardust: these were some of the lighting systems that were presented on September 30 and October 1 in Bratislava by SmartLight, Vistosi exclusive distributor in Slovakia, during the two-days event devoted to Vistosi flagship products and the new Euroluce 2015 collections. On this occasion architects, interior and lighting designers celebrated the first birthday of the SmartLight showroom in Bratislava, that was lighted up by Vistosi latest creations.
Vistosi 2015 collections
The names of the new Vistosi lighting systems are intense and evocative: they tell so much about the innovation, excellent quality and refined design of these Murano glass creations, conceived by internationally renowned designers, while closely following the latest trends and market demands.
Euroluce collections are the result of many collaborations with talented designers, and combine modern with attractive design, versatility with affordability: like StarNet by Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio – Veneziano + Team, with its infinite crystal wefts that allow to realize the preferred compositions and to change them anytime on request; the amazing compositions of spherical blown glass elements from the Oto collection, designed by Pio and Tito Toso; the Stardust collections of chandeliers with arms made of blown and handcrafted crystal glass designed by Francesco Lucchese; Futura, a lighting system designed by Hangar Design Group, which goes back to the suggestive shape of lanterns, but makes it objective, rational, clean; Semai by Saggia and Somella, with its pendant and ceiling lamps made of a glass mouth blown into a steel cage; the freehand blown knots that give its name to Nodo, designed by Pio and Tito Toso; the chandeliers with blown glass diffuser with an original irregularly lined dégradé finish, reminiscent of the arms of a marionette, of the Puppet collection, designed by Romani Saccani Architetti Associati; the essential lines of Essence by Atelier Oï, lamps with diffuser in handmade glass rods, whose surface is partially opaque by a nuanced sandblasting.
